check your local media for details. I have also not heard Celtic make your case, which is strange would you not think?
Again, we've discussed this already and I'm not even a Celtic fan.... I just like to see things from other perspectives rather than to indulge in rhetoric. You're just stating the same reactionary views all the time - I don't see you trying to understand where we're coming from here.

You have to understand that there will always be tension. What they did was wrong, but people don't just forget the past.

No, wrong. I was saying I can understand why people would not participate in remembrance day, but made it quiet clear I did not support the way they went about it.

If your going to base everything on assumption, at least be good at making assumptions.

Here's a hint : Your not.

Should the Falkirk fans have been cross with Celtic because of the indigenous celts that came across and killed lots of Picts?

how far back will you go?

Well when people alive today can remember what has happened in the past. So stop being silly.

that sounds like the case for the defence.

and what does the British army represent for Celtic Football club?

I would imagine the same as it represents for Torquay or Manchester City

So you think it was just Irish born celtic fans who were chanting?

Surely it could not have been Scottish ones then?

Most Celtic fans are Scottish, henceforth BRITISH. They align themselves with Irish, for sure - but they're British. Of course there are some Irish fans, but the majority are Eastern Glaswegian. The club is British, and should honour that. Like I've stated, not all the fans were disrespectful, but as the silence went on a lot more fans joined in with the chanting.

Celtic Park have even banned UK flags in their stadium because it represents loyalists (fair enough, on old firm days, but what about other matches?).

It's not a defence; it's trying to understand the reasoning behind their reaction. But you're incapable of listening to anything we say and instead you cut and paste small segments of our comments in an effort to pigeonhole us. Read my initial post and you'll see that I don't condone their behaviour but I can understand where it's coming from.

Yeah, despite my post, I can understand where it comes from. I honestly think that most of them would be ashamed of their behaviour if their workmates etc had seen that they'd sang over the silence though. A lot of men will have family members currently serving, too.

Well I don't know much about Celtic itself but placing someone like that in a high position within a club that's been long known for it's sectarian leanings could be looked on as a type of political coup, don't you think? I mean in terms of PR you can't go wrong having someone like that as your chairman.

They do, but like I said, and like you keep ignoring, they found the Celtic method obviously a tad disrespectful.

That things are not as pathetically black and white as you see them. You seem to think people either partake in remembrance day OR don an SS uniform and parade Piccadilly square goosestepping.
