And how old are you for the people who are posting.
Its shocking to see so many people being paid different wages for doing more or less the same thing. Im 16 and Im on £5.93, working 9 hours a week (saturday and sunday) which should get me to around £180-£190 a month which isnt bad at all. But my friend works in Primark and only get £4.07, its basically the same thing! And New Look gets around £6.00. I also dont get why under 18s should be paid less... why should we? If so then under 18s should be classified as "child" on bus and train fares... but 16 year olds are classified as an adult and we have to pay the same price as anybody else for trains and buses!! So we should be able to get the same pay!! A new girl started at TkMaxx last week and she's 20, and she is apprently getting £6.76, almost £1 more than anybody else! |

I'm 16, £6.30 an hour, 12 hours a week [7 hours on Sat, 5 on Sun] so thats like £75.60 a week, so a month I'd say it's like £300. Mind you they didn't have me down for working this weekend or next for some reason, so I've lost like £150, and I went in to work on Sat and had to get the train home cause they didn't have me down for working and it wasn't busy in the callcentre. ahh. But yeh I can choose to work when I want aswell..
btww people call up wanting a brochure, i take their name, postcode etc, put it into the system and a brochure gets sent out. Feel free to call up haha. |

Whether you hate it or not, it will work in your favour because you'll have more for your CV and it will be easier for you to get a job later on, where most struggle with their first

Yepp. ;D The money isn't that bad compared to what most 14 year olds would get.. so I'm happy. I've made friends with the people I work with and it's a lot of fun ;D
