Default Ordinary Boys Single challenging for #1

The Ordinary Boys' single 'Boys Will Be Boys' is challenging for a number one slot this week, moving up, yet again, from its peak of #9 last week, selling 5,642 copies.

Good on The Ordinary Boys.

It was an overlooked classic from last year.

Lets get em to number 1.

Its number 1 on iTunes.

It would be pretty cool if it got to number 1, though it looks to have stalled in the midweek charts.

I really like the song! It's amazing what an appearance on BB can do for your record sales!

E.g. Dead or Alive and The Ordinary Boys.

Anybody know where you can find out the placings in the midweek charts?

Tom.

(God, I'm up early - just looked at the clock!!!! )

I usually check the midweek charts on teletext page 351 on Thursday on Channel 4.

Its a bit harsh to say the lyrics suit "the rat" Preston! This song was written last Winter, about going on tour.

There was a quote from HMV's singles buyer earlier this week, saying that it would be a three-horse-race for number one this weekend, with only 700 copies splitting sales of all three. He said that he'd be 'very surprised indeed' if D.O.A. didn't make it. Ordinary Boys weren't even mentioned as possible outsiders.

The Ordinary Boys had a pretty successful career before BB, I think you'll find. Their album had gone gold and they have had a number of top 40 hits, which is pretty good for this type of band.

Default Official Chart Positions..

Outrage!
Lolz

Pete got to No.5 with 'You Spin Me Round'.
I Hate Pete but love that song shouldve been higher.

And Preston was No.3
Yet another outrage
Hoping he was No.1

But once again Notorious BIG got to No.1
Pfft
Like that song but...
