Default Drought in Africa.

I just heard a story (or shall I say.. I'm listening to) about the drought in Africa and I feel so guilty about touching a single bit of food now. I didn't realise how bad it was and I was sad to hear that an innocent boy died of the famine one hour after the BBC filmed him on telly..

I was going to make some ready brek before I went to bed, but backed out.

Does anyone feel "guilty" about it? I know we can't help prevent the food situations or we cant send our cupboard contents to them, but I feel like I take things for granted.

Is there other people who feel the same way? (PS no snide comments from SMC)

Tbh, we are doing enough as a nation to help such things. The only things we can hope for is for our money to reach them quickly so that can start living in the modern world and not have to endure middle age living.

It's a shame that in the year 2006 we are still talking about people dying in Africa, it should have been sorted ages ago.

We are always sending money over but a lot of the time it does not reach them or falls into the wrong hands. It's awful but what more can we do about it?
