Default Science at \'Black History Scholars\' Day\' event

Quote:
Talented children from all over London attended City Hall last weekend to take part in the Mayor’s Black History Scholars’ Day.

At the event held last Saturday, 450 families with children aged 11 -16 mingled with celebrities including Science of Big Brother fame, comedians Robbie Gee and Eddie Nestor and Bad Girls’ actress Antonia Okonma.

The children competed in workshops for prizes such as educational grants, laptops and book tokens worth up to £18,000.
