Default I'm finally understanding why BB10 had such low ratings

All the housemates every did was bicker, squabble, and insult each other. OMG! I keep having to remind myself that these people are not teenagers, but in their 20s. They are behaving like such kids! CBB7 was all in an uproar over Sov's food antics and Sisqo's bitching? Hello? This happened like five times a day in BB10! Sheesh.

By the way, I'm Jewish, married, and mom to 2 little boys.

BB11:

LOVE: Mario. Josie. Dave. Steve.
LIKE: Ife. Caoimhe. Ben. Sunshine.
OKAY: Rachel. Nathan. Corin.
HATE: Shabby. Govan. John-James

Excited about an Orthodox jewish guy going on BBUS12!

*cough*BB5*cough.

The housemates were possibly the best thing about the entire series. It was everything but the housemates - the guys behind the windows, in the boardrooms, and in the control rooms, who messed the series up.

BB10 had so low ratings because of the young housemates and it was the worst series

Big Brother 5 was full of conflict, hate and anger. It was what made the series one of the best and highest rated. Yet you cite these elements as something that destroyed a series.

As for Big Brother 10's production, where do I start?

- Piss poor advertising campaign.
- Horrible opening twist.
- Repetetive tasks.
- Terrible timeslot shifting.
- Lack of funding.
- Lack of new, creative ideas and twists.
- Subpar 10th birthday celebrations.
- Horrible handling of the spin off shows.
- A ritual destroying of the format, from the ease of the rules to the beyond riddiculous 'let's take two housemates and drive them around on a bus'.

Yes, it was funny, and yes, the outside world thing had been broken before ... but that was too far and made the show look like a gimmick ridden joke.

right on every point.

I guess I dont enjoy conflict, bitching, arguing and insulting. I enjoy harmony and good natured laughing fun.

Well I think that's a bit obvious. What we are discussing is why they didn't care.

It got bad ratings because it was a terrible series, it was only SLIGHTLY better then BB4 (which I gave up on a few weeks into it). I just couldn't be bothered with BB10 half the time.

They did break a lot of their own rules. I'm still gutted about Kris leaving so early, he wasnt even nominated! and all the other tampering of the nominations in such sneaky ways.
