New ITV boss Adam Crozier has poached Channel 4 director of television Kevin Lygo to be managing director of ITV Studios. Lygo, who is credited with Big Brother's success and who lost out in the race to be C4's new boss, will be responsible for such shows as Coronation Street. Crozier wants Lygo to ensure ITV makes more hits rather than having to buy them in. London Evening Standard Good news for ITV? |
