  And in typical BB style, the jokey send-off turned into an almighty bitch-fest as egos ran out of control. Channel 4 chiefs staged the mock funeral for an advert to promote this summer's last-ever series. Thirty former housemates arrived to film at the graveside, where legendary Geordie narrator Marcus Bentley put in a rare on-camera appearance dressed up as the presiding vicar. And with so many outrageous show-offs in one place - including "Nasty" Nick Bateman and arch villainess "South London It Girl" Charley Uchea - it was not long before things got bitchy. An insider said yesterday: "There was a lot of one-upmanship going on - the older contestants thought they were more important than the newer ones. "There were a lot of them there and they all wanted to be in shot, obviously. "Tempers got a bit frayed and there were some cross words - not helped by the fact it was a long day. It felt like a typical day in the BB house." Others taking part included BB1 winner Craig Phillips, last year's victor Sophie "Dogface" Reade, sex swap Nadia Almada, BB2 winner Brian Dowling and 2007's dull-but-nice fave Brian Belo. Also on hand were Tourettes sufferer Pete Bennett, the "Samanda" twins Samantha and Amanda Marchant, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, albino Darnell Swallow, Welsh lad Glyn Wise, clean freak Alex Sibley and physics ace Jon Tickle. Nasty Nick whinged online: "Arguing on set already. How dull! "Nadia has just turned up 8hrs late. Thanks for the effort." TV Biz has told how bosses may bring back ex-stars for the last series.
