It shouldn't be too bad as they should of chosen a range of housemates so they shouldn't be too similar, but i dunno if there will be an order to them going in eg housemate no.1 housemate no.2.. because if there isn't then the housemate sweepstake game won't work

Well its says they will COMPETE. Which would mean they all have a chance of getting in. To just make an extra 15 or so people turn up just to tell them theyre not going in just seems mean to me. All those disappointed faces will cast a cloud over the first night.

And...we don't need to see them excited about being chosen because theyre always excited enough on the first night anyway. We don't need extra gimmicks.

I'd rather they had to compete as long as theyve ensured that they have a good mixture whatever the outcome. They could, for example, pit like against like in an elimination game. Two bimbos compete so only one gets through etc

I think it could be 20 potential housemates, and 14 will become housemates and will enter the house, either these 14 will be prechosen by big brother or will win in a task or something, out of the remaining 6, the public will get to vote two of them in friday night when the evictions normally take place.

Well Daiy Star say 100 hopefuls and Ch4 press worker says half will get in so that means we get 50 housemates. Is the house big enough? I think they will have to fight for the beds once they get in.

I don't mind this idea at all, it'll make for a very different launch night indeed
And I'm sure that we won't end up with anyone that the producers wouldn't have put in... otherwise they wouldn't have put them in the final 100
It's quite interesting how they won't have control over the exact contestents though... or so we think

Lol. Most years they can't even pick 15 decent HMs so fat chance of them picking 100!

No way will they be dealing with that many on first night. Too much to cope with on a LIVE show. It has to be managable amount.

I think about 20-25 with 15 selected through voting or elimination games.

The only way to do it is 1 Hm is selected, goes in, vt is show next housemate is selected, goes in, vt is shown and so on....... it'll be awful tbh, hope they have a good plan on how they are going to do it and i cant see fans been happy if vts arent shown :/
