Oh Brother!- While we're always excited to see a new batch of housemates entering the famous compound in Elstree, it's a bittersweet moment this year, as this is to be the final series of Big Brother.Let's hope she show's got plenty of ideas stuffed up it's all knowing sleeves to really go out in style. Details of the new intake were still tightly guarded as we went to press, but a persistent rumour is that the initial selection will include more people than can be realistically fit into the house. The group will be called to the studio, where they will find out live from Davina whether or not they've made it into the house or not. If not, they'll simply be sent home with their dreams of round-the-clock observation in tatters...

TV Choice - Big Brother has become a summer staple. But this week the final series gets under way.
When it first hit our screens, Big brother was seen as more of a social experiment, but the show became cult viewing and 10 years on it opens its doors for the last time. As always, producers are keeping details of the show under wraps until lanuch night. Even host Davina McCall doesn't know what's coming. 'I as them not to tell me - it's more exciting to find out the day before, then I'm really hyper.' Davina, 42, has hosted the show, which shot the likes of Jade Goody into the limelight, since it began in 2000. And in that time she has got married and had three children. 'Big Brother has been a godsend for my career,' says Davina, who also hosts Big Brother's Big Mouth. 'And this year I want housemates to appreciate the importance that BB has had on TV history.' The twist for the final is that more people will be selected as housemates than the house can hold. Plus, George Lamb will return with Big Brother's Little Brother. 'It's going to be massice, naughty, bad, great, good and outrageous!' she laughs.

Its also Today's Choice for Wednesday - The ultimate reality TV show returns to our screens for the last time and Davina McCall is back on presenting duties as a fresh batch of housemates submit to the nation's gaze. Big Brother Channel 4 9.00pm
