Big Brother 11 hopeful Gregor Gillespie has revealed that he has packed condoms and cherry lubricant for his potential stint in the house.

The 20-year-old DJ from Edinburgh, who was confirmed on the shortlist of candidates earlier today, also claimed that he was the cousin of Hollywood star Ewan McGregor.

"My name's Gregor, I'm a DJ from Scotland, I'm not going into Big Brother for the fame or the money because I've got loads of celebrity friends already. And yes, before you ask, I would have sex in the Big Brother house," he told DS.

"I've got 30 condoms and cherry lubricant packed. I'm only human. Do I need lubricant? Do you need it honey? No, I don't need it, but I always take precautions!"

When asked about his celebrity friends, he said: "I know Rowetta from the Happy Mondays. Ewan McGregor is my cousin. But obviously with his line of work I don't get to see him. He doesn't know I'm doing this and I don't think he ever will."

Big Brother 11 starts tomorrow night at 9pm on Channel 4.
