does it really matter - they shouldnt use things for more than one secret task anyway, they should come up with more than one idea or plot to do things rather than just telling a housemate to keep quiet about it.

Mario also needs to build up some trust with the housemates again as he has been lying to them, BB should have known it would come out, things are said so flippantly that it was only a matter of time.

It hasnt ruined any more tasks, they still have the creative power to do different things (if only they had the creative minds)

it doesnt speak, its just a speaker that could be placed anywhere really. the whole thing about ruining the drawers and stopping other tasks isnt really a problem, bb can still pass things through it, or just give people stuff in the DR like normal, and they will do what, another 4 or 5 maximum secret tasks. it just doesnt matter.

I think some people have too much hope in a talking set of drawers, says a lot for our views on BBs imagination

So surely then mentioning the tree thing will bring them to trust him again, and not nominate him. As such he did the right thing. He made them have a bit more trust in him.
