Default DEAN INTERVIEW - PART ONE

Last Thursday I was invited to the recording studio where Dean and Phony are recording their first album.

CLICK HERE to read the first part of that interview.

Part two will go up later in the week.

Lee, this is great. The best so far!

You are so good at it, and I feel exactly as I expected about Dean.

He is the bloke we saw in the house, I think I must have seen enough e4. It sounds like a chat! Must be a nice change for him to talk to someone like you!

I look forward to the next instalment!

Default Dean Interview

L E E that was great and I look forward to reading the second part as soon as you write it.
Dean seems to have his feet firmly on the ground and Naz could learn a thing or two from him.
Great Bloke.

What a wonderful interview, LEE - congratulations! Parky had better watch out!

Dean never struck me as particularly boring in the house - he was, however, portrayed as being rather serious. I loved his dry sense of humour, and the episode when he chased Brian round the lounge with the piece of orange in his mouth was one of the funniest moments of BB2.

In so far as the choice of single is concerned, I've listened to both songs on the Vitaminic website and although Longhaul is excellent, I think Sacrifice really suits Dean's voice. Perhaps a double A side?

Dean comes across as a totally genuine and down-to-earth bloke - just as he did in the BB house.

I'm very much looking forward to Part 2 of the interview.

Yet again LEE, very well done. It has made for very interesting reading yet again.

I never thought Dean was particularly boring in the house either. I knew he was quieter than some of the others, and definitely more serious, but that's hardly the same thing. It was clear he was bored a lot of the time, and it isn't that interesting to watch someone in a deck-chair all day, but most intelligent C4 viewers worked out that he wouldn't do that in the real world. And if you wanted to see someone doing something really exciting you shouldn't be watching BB, but something on Extreme Sports.

Apart from my irrational fear of appearing on national tv, I know the boredom would get to me too. Even if I was in a house with my 10 best friends, I'd be pretty bored with them after a few weeks, so I completely understand his little outburst.

It is interesting that he has admitted to watching all of the tapes. I think I would have to, just to see what people had actually seen me do. And of course to see what everyone else got up to whenever I left the room.

No pressure LEE, but I'm looking forward to part 2. Dean always struck me as someone with interesting things to say, and I want to hear them.

Congratulations Lee. Thoroughly enjoyed Part 1 of your interview with Dean. What a great bloke he is and I certainly never saw him as boring.

I prefer Longhaul to Sacrifice but we'll see what happens. Whichever he chooses, I'll be buying it. What a shame it's not going to be De-luxe though.

Look forward very much now to Part 2.

Thanks for that LEE
I always thought Dean was very mature and like Amma said, 'every time he opened his mouth, he has something good to say' I thought that most of the time.
Dean seems very cool but I think he has got tough competition if Ant and Dec release a single for the World Cup. Cant wait to hear them both and am also lookin forward to gettin hold of Phoneys album.
Keep up the good work LEE!

I take that back, it's taking me far longer than I thought it would I wish I had 50p for every 'You Know' and 'I mean' I've edited out

I will finish it tonight but not in time to post it up.

Tomorrow definitely though.
