Anyway, caught up now. Just had an ITV2 Corrie binge this morning. Missed yesterdays and fell asleep though most of Fridays

Gail McIntyre will face jail again in Coronation Street after being framed for a suicide, according to a source.

The News of the World reports that the character - played by Helen Worth - will be held responsible for the suicide of Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) in the autumn.

Gail was wrongly accused earlier this year for the death of her husband Joe McIntyre, spending months locked up as a result.

"[She] always puts her family first - and this will be no different. But her meddling will have terrible consequences," a source claimed.

During this plot, Natasha will apparently abort Nick Tilsley's baby after the pair split up, which leads to a bout of depression.

Just read the actor who plays John Stape was attacked over his 'affair and kidnap of Rosie Webster'. Why people can't realise they are just acting I don't know

Does anyone love the Sophie/Sian story, I love it. Its my favourite story in Corrie at the moment. I watch all their clips and MV's on youtube.
I much prefer Sophie/Sian to Chryed.

I like it too, it's my favourite. As is Christian and Syed's, love these sort of storylines.

They normally go on for quite a while aswell.

The girl who plays Sophie was on TV earlier. I think she said they told her about this storyline two years ago so she could get her head around it, being so young

"Natasha's story will take a really interesting turn. Her story with Nick is another big plot across the summer into the early part of the autumn. She'll have a really big, memorable exit. Natasha becomes really important in the run up to her departure. All I'll say is, don't believe everything you read in the papers…"

Take for example, the Fishwick storyline, the original article said John kills Fishwick and buries him in Underworld, yet the pictures on ITV.com say that John and Charlotte are taking the body to her car

I hope she doesn't. I think depression, abortion AND suicide is (although realistic for some poor souls) a very tough storyline so soon after so much gloom as it is

Actor Graeme Hawley, who plays John Stape, has dismissed reports that he was attacked in a bar by an angry fan.

Newspaper reports today claim that Graeme was caught in a headlock in a Manchester bar by a fan who was upset about John’s fling with Rosie Webster.

But Graeme was bemused by the story – saying that fans are never anything but friendly.

He said: “I suddenly started getting calls this morning from friends and family asking if I was ok – I had no idea what they were talking about until someone pointed out the story.

“I have never been grabbed in a headlock by anyone. Occasionally people will make jokey comments about John – particularly throughout the Rosie storyline, but it is always in good humour and I have never felt threatened.

Graeme went on to say: “It is true that I tend to avoid crowded bars but that is as much to do with the fact that I am 36 and a dad as the fact that I am a famous face! I am happy to say that I have never found myself in a situation where I felt threatened. The fans are passionate about the show but that is what makes working on Corrie so great."

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has insisted that lesbianism will not just be a passing phase for her Weatherfield character Sophie Webster.

Fans of the ITV1 soap have seen Sophie find love with best friend Sian Powers (Sacha Parkinson) this year, and the plot returns to the forefront in tonight's episodes when Ryan Connor (Ben Thompson) discovers the truth about the pair's relationship.

In an interview with This Morning today, Vincent was asked whether Sophie's decision to have a romance with another girl is merely "a phase she's going through".

The actress replied: "No. In the story conference, they wanted to point out that it wasn't a phase because it's not a phase to most people.

"We wanted to play it really real and just normal. You have a stereotype of what a lesbian is and it's not always like that."

Asked what the future holds for Sophie and Sian's relationship, Vincent teased: "You're just going to see the ups and downs of it all. Just stay tuned!"

I'm really glad about this, I'd have just hated it if the storyline had fizzled out and they broke up and Sophie went back to guys.

It fizzed out due to real life circumstances, this storyline will give a boost to the ratings
