You say the crying 'game' as though it is fake. Unlike other housemates who have cried and we have never seen tears, there are always tears from John James, so it isn't fake tears. There aren't many people who can act as upset as he has. And he has been really truly distraught at some points.

No there isn't!

And distraught about what FFS? He has nothing to be distraught about in truth. He's on a reality TV show with a bunch of strangers. He can leave at any point. But will he? NO!

Clearly not all that distraught then!

Quit being a gullible sucker.

What the hell? Have you not paid attention to anything said by any housemates. They get involved and then feel as though they have been in the house for years. Time goes slowly there, and people form real relationships. Reality TV doesn't mean everyone plays a game, and no one connects with each other. Surprisingly enough it means Reality, where if you are with a small group of people for any amount of time with no contact with anyone else, you get connected. Anyone who doesn't connect would be a robot. And i would not trust them, hence my distrust of Ben.

And i think he is probably being reminded of the people he doesn't see, much like Steve and Ben have been saying. He has lost someone close to him and, you know, it can take longer than 2 years to get over the death of a father. I doubt very much that all emotion he is feeling isn't reminding him of how much he misses his dad, how he felt about his dad, and how he feels about not being in contact with his mum who he has a very close relationship with - as anyone would expect after losing a parent.

All down to Josie as well, how true fans of JJ can actually say they like grossie Josie is beyond me.

She is playing him like a puppet on a string.

I happen to agree, the attention she gives the other men is very confusing. And she keeps him close all the time so that he can compliment her. If Josie didn't have John James she would be VERY VERY VERY bland - she hasn't done anything.

Well she has spent 90% of her time in bed and sucking her thumb, to some on here that's entertainment.

a 'sob story', WTF? How kind, everyone seems to listen to all the other 'sob stories' - like Ben's, which is hardly a sob story. Shame, he needs money because his parents large house is falling apart - SO WHAT - GET A JOB BEN.

At least John James hasn't been chucking it around as well. I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere other than the internet. WHich just proves the respect he has for his father, and for the death of relatives. Sunshine seemed to chuck around the death of her mother, but John James hadn't, won't, and probably never will.

You joined the conversation so obviously you do give a ******.
And sure i do think he is to some extent 'damaged goods', but everyone is to some extent.

I switched LF off again about an hour and a half ago, because they were back under the duvet and the camera was doing its usual static thing, maybe the producers had gone down to Pizza Hut!

housemates have been quite bored of late, i don't think there is very much else that they have to get us to watch on LF. They haven't done a long task for quite a while now.

John James' father built an extension on to the house for JJ, because the two could not stand each other. JJ believes his father was jealous of his wife's obsession with JJ!

But he still misses him. That is the point i was making. Every child is a product of their parents, it is a sad but a true statement. John James said as well - to josie - that his relationship with his father had improved about 3 months before he passed.

seems like a very harsh judgement to make of a situation you don't understand fully. We don't really know what his father was like. There are often relationships between father and son that are strained it isn't unusual.
