The housemates will be a bit tied up this afternoon, as Big Brother has asked the newly grown gang to get knotted. Or rather, un-knotted.

For this week's shopping task, housemates have three hours to untangle themselves from a giant knot in the garden. Each housemate will be wearing a belt attached to a separate piece of rope.


In the garden, a scoreboard will show double the luxury shopping budget for next week, which is £672.00. As housemates take time to complete the task, this amount will go down until it reaches zero. Housemates have three hours and 15 minutes before the scoreboard shows £0 and the task is failed.

As soon as housemates untangle the knot, they must slide a yellow ring from the base of the rope to their belt to prove the rope is untangled. Once everyone is untangled, one housemate must run to the scoreboard and push a button that stops the shopping budget decreasing any further. The final amount showing on the screen will be the shopping budget for the following week.
