Never trust proxies. Especially when you're putting in your details for login.

If it goes onto http://www.facebook.com/home.php then type http://ssl.facebook.com in your address bar again and your on Facebook!
If you click on something and in the address bar it has http://www.facebook.com at the start, just change the www. to ssl.
