Victory Road's very confusing in this one, repels help a lot though.

i managed to do it like half an hour after that post, it really was confusing though. gotta beat the e4 now, woo.

repels = <3, i always have at least 20 in my bag.

They're good in this game, the encounter rate is quite high. What level are your pokemon at?

my starter (emboar) is level 59, and all the rest in my team are between 38-42, i could probably do with leveling them all up to at least 45 before challenging them. i've got the two exp shares though, which helps.

I did it with everyone at level 50, still quite tricky in parts though as the Elite Four uses a lot of moves to cover their weaknesses. Emboar will do well though I think.

i think the one that's going to be the most difficult to win against is caitlin, because one of emboar's weaknesses is psychic. eek. usually, i just use my starter and i only switch in the other pokemon so i can heal it, i find that easier than matching type with type.

Psychic is weak to Dark, Ghost and bug type attacks, if you got any of them use them in bulk against her. Caitlin's not bad, I had a harder time against Marshal.

i think i have a bug pokemon somwhere that i could probably quickly train. also i partly ev trained my emboar in attack, so it is pretty strong, even when the move isn't really effective it usually takes out most of hp in one move.

what type does marshal use?

Fighting, a lot of his team has stone edge though so it's difficult to fight with flying types which was a pain for me as I used Swoobat so his two main weaknesses were wrapped up in an easy to kill package

Audinos are a good way to train if you haven't already been using them. Just find a patch of grass with the highest level pokemon you can find and run along the path (but not in the grass) until a patch starts shaking and then kill the Audino and you'll get a fair bit of EXP with a lucky Egg equipped.

Oh, Krookadile's destroy the elite four if you have one.
