IF it's true then it's a pretty meh line up. L.A Reid could be cool but Paula Abdul is hardly the A-lister Simon hinted at.

Argh wtf I can't get over this; Paula Abdul is a horrendous judge because she will be nice to literally anyone, and what does Cheryl Cole know about American music? Seriously, she's going to be so out of her depth when it comes to country music, gospel music etc unless she's seriously doing her homework which I really can't imagine her doing. What a ridiculous decision.

It probably is,as Zee says above a ridiculous decision to have Cheryl Cole on the USA X Factor, I am just glad she is and therefore won't be putting me off the UK X Factor this year.

I'm not that keen on Paula Abdul either. It seems a poor line up and some may change on next years shows over there.

Cheryl Cole's limited knowledge on music was tolerable on UK X Factor because the majority of people that go on the show in this country all stick to the usual pop or something. Even though she claimed to have "never heard that song", to an Elton John song.

God help her in the US with all the different genres of music and a bunch of artists she won't be familiar with. I was watching American Idol for the first time the other week and I can't see her managing to judge something like that. Regardless of her own singing ability.

this is the line up most predicted. Im very happy with Cheryl and Paula. LA Reid I have no idea how he'll do. All you saying you won't watch will do.

apparently the deals havent been done yet with Paula and Cheryl so it could still not happen. Especially if Abdul gets greedy again.

I understand from Cowell that negotiations for Abdul's deal hasn't even started and that Cole's deal isn't quite done yet. And of course, he could change his mind.
