but her fanbase are strictly schoolkids

XF is a primetime show that needs to pull in a wide demograph of viewers. You don't get 10mill viewers just appealing to kids.

I don't think its a question that ratings will be down this year because of the changes but then it isn't going to a complete flop because the older generation of viewers have never heard of one of the judges.

Like I said in another thread Cheryl wasn't a big name before XF. Girls Aloud were Cheryl was just a part of it. Shes were she is now because of XF pushing her profile up, same could happen for Tulisa.

People should get off their high horse and give her a chance and stop acting like its a doom and gloom decision. I think she has a great personality and will be good for the show, probably gain a lot of fans off the back of it.

Cheryl had a high profile when she joined XF. She was in the media a lot. Of course not as big as she is now. But certainly way ahead of Tulisa and far more successful in the charts.

she may well prove to be a good personality. But at this point all we have to go on is her name. And as a name it aint impressive considering who she is replacing. They need bigger names to get people excited about the show returning. Especially losing its 3 biggest judges!
