I do too. They passed it on to debt collection places now though.

I want them to take me to court tbh. And Im hoping the courts would see how pathetic natwest are being on their end. I offered to repay the 3 quid odd..plus pay ONE set of charges, which was about £28 IIRC...but they wouldnt even take that

Have you seen the website money expert? It's fantastic for fighting banks/bailiffs etc. Nationaldebtline too. My mate sent me a pack about rights and stuff and it's so surprising what they actually can't do. For instance, a bailiff CANNOT enter your house unless invited and they can NEVER take goods unless it's been to court and you default on court payments. Bailffs can only take actual action after court

Thats new to me. I quite recently had to pay about £600 for a BT bill that had been passed onto the bailiffs(which...again, the original bill was 80 quid til they added loadsda **** on that I hadnt asked for and said I had made about a hundred quids worth of calls, but wouldnt send me an itemised bill until AFTER I paid, which sounded dodgy to me...along with the fact that we had had nothing but problems with them anyways, we just switched to another company in the end)

Because gav asked him inside without knowing who he was () and he wrote down loads of my stuff, that would actually have come to about 5 grand or so, not £600 and said if I didnt pay then he was coming back for it

Will check out those sites, definitely

If it's just council tax he just needs to ring them. They'll split the debt over the year is all. I've owed them well over that before

If it's sorted don't worry. Or just ring them again and ask why you're still getting letters. They always use scare tactics. They're just standard letters though. You'd get the same if you owed them a quid

No. I pay for everything by cash or visa debit card. Or paypal as Ive been buying a lot online lately(I had one crazy night where I couldn't stop buying crap on ebay I didnt even want).

I can't bare the thought of debt. Recently I got this bogus letter from a debt recovery agency saying I owed £350. I was so furious because I had no clue what it was for or had even ever bought from this certain company. But after researching them found out they try this crap all the time on random people. So I binned it and heard nothing more.
