can somebody copy and paste please, i cant access it. Does this mean the twist will be botched? They may as well hand letters to all the HMs saying "CHANNEL 4 THINK YOU ARE TOO BORING."

Yeah I have just heard that on the radio too.Thing is people have spent money getting out HM's they don't want to win.Now what will they feel like if ,say Nikki went ahead to win it.

Its a deseperate move by BB last used in BB4(another dire year) ,only then they had the sense to make mr tickle unable to win.

How many more gaffs do they want to make this year.

I am beginning to think they are laying the way clear to rest the show for a while , as is widely rumoured.

I can't get the article unless I subscribe, but I found this opinion column on the same site:

I have to say, I agree with what she and many others are saying...

Its the fact that the housemate who re-enters has a chance to win, that is annoying so many people. If the housemate couldn't win it wouldn't be such a big deal.

They should have just threw Shabaz back in for the final week, he'd cause more havoc than any of them and plus, nobody has spent any money getting rid of him!

The biggest problem here is that a lot of viewers are of the opinion that the sole reason for this "twist" is to get Nikki back in. If Nikki was still in that house, do you think this would even be happening?

This is claptrap.

Whoever goes in isn't going to win.

We all know who the winner is.

PETE. and believe me it kills me to say that.

I can see why they have received so many complaints to be fair, all the papers had Nikki over them and went on about how much people missed Nikki then a couple of weeks later she is suddenly going back into the house.

It may only be a game, but it's our money to with as we saw fit.
We chose to remove housemates in favour of the ones left.
It is wrong on many levels that ex-housemates can be re-admitted.

I hope that ofcom uphold the complaints.

BB works well without all this biased stuff, just let it be!

Perhaps people should be less arogant and relise this vote is also for a good cause and could help many people.

They have only done that to take the pressuere off them

The normal vote should be more than 10p to charity also, thats why i have never voted

One thing should have nothing to do with the other!

The trouble is that it seems too, or else Endomol CH4 and BB wouldn’t feel the need to blackmail us by doing this Charity thing to start with - they obviously feel it exonerates them from responsibility! Which it doesnt!

By the way, just because some people happen to object to the misuse of their hard earned money does not make them arrogant!

Default Ofcom complaints exceed 1,000

Complaints regarding the latest twist have soared past the 1,000 mark, Ofcom have revealed.

The complaints rocketed past the 1,000 mark, despite this vote looking set to be the biggest one of the series so far. In total, 1,196 people have complained about the twist, which allows one ex-housemate return to the house, with the chance of winning the £100,000 prize.

Channel 4 has also received complaints, but is so far not releasing numbers. The vote to put an evictee back into the Big Brother house has already raised nearly £150,000 for charity.

Channel 4 did however say that once the lines had opened, the votes came flooding in. They said that this was the biggest response they've had in such a small time period.

Ofcom said the number of complaints was the highest it had received for a programme in some time. Last year, over 500 people complained after Big Brother 6 housemate Makosi allegedly had unprotected sex in the house.
