I could not agree more with you. It's something I notice almost daily - it's almost as you say bobnot, they are devoid of any emotions that relate to caring, empathy, kindness - and these are replaced with the nastier emotions.

That was precisely the point: they don't care about injured animals, who have wandered in for food, shelter, curiosity: other than screaming and shouting loudly around them, gathering around the poor injured creature.

They are self absorbed with little regard for much else around them.

I must have missed the bit where anyone noted or showed interest in it's injury, or made comment that they should see if they should speak to the producers to tend to the injured animal.

If you can't answer the question, there's no need to assume that 'you guys just want to hate'.

Why have you posted this in the BB12 on Channel 5 section of the forum anyway? It's nothing to do with BB - it's an entirely different type of show, entirely different concept. The two are not intertwined.
