They do seem to "get it" sometimes though. When they were on Buzzcocks you could see the emotion in their faces when they got dissed, they like went really quiet and looked like they were gonna cry

They are two teenagers who have been highly successful, financially speaking, in fields other than the singing for which they first came into prominence. Advertising, modelling etc.

I've never been introduced to the President of the United States and neither will 99.999% of people on this forum. Jedward have.

I do realise all this increases the hate factor for those who disliked them from XF. I'm feel pretty neutral about them myself, but just trying to introduce an element of reality.

mmmmm, as soon as they hit their 20's I think we will see a massive decline in popularity. Would be interesting to know how much say they have in what they do, doubt it is much, and seems like they're willing to anything for a quick buck.

Get a reality check. They make money from doing bits and bobs that Louis can scrape together to milk them(ahem) for every penny he can while they can still get away with acting like 10 year olds. At 19 times running out.

They have no solid career. Just jobbing z-listers like Katona. They go wherever a check is waved.

Yes a few hundred thousand here, a few hundred thousand there!

Many people would like "bits and bobs" like that. I'll bet XF winners like Joe McElderry and Matt Cardle would love a few.

You're so defensive Are you related to them or something? And we don't care how much money they make they still make it shamelessly. And there is no way they would ever become anything like Ant and Dec. Best they can hope for is CBBC 6am slot or something, and that's being kind.

It's just I do not accept the premise of this thread that there is general "dislike" of Jedward. A part of the public do, certainly - and I have suggested which part. I'd say it was a quite small minority but it is over-represented on forums like this because it is seen as cool to be Jedward bashers.
