A mystery female is set to enter the Big Brother house tonight in a bid to spice up the show.

The new contestant is being whisked in to even up the boy-girl ratio, after Tania Do Nascimento was evicted last night.

Host Davina revealed there would be a new housemate - after Tania became the sixth contestant to be kicked out of the fly-on-the-wall house.

She received a crushing 72% of the vote in the all-girl eviction battle with Nush and Steph.

Afterwards, the 22-year-old admitted that her on-off relationship with footballer Youssef Sofiane is definitely on after maintaining for weeks that she did not have a boyfriend.

She was finally forced to reveal the truth after learning that the West Ham reserve was in the studio hiding behind the scenes.

The clothes shop worker also counts pop stars Peter Andre and Dane Bowers among her past boyfriends.

Waving her arms and hugging the housemates, Tania said: "Oh my God, I'm so excited, I am so ecstatic."

She was greeted with a mixture of cheers and boos as she left the house, with many of the crowd wearing heavy blusher in her honour.

Tania told Davina that she was oblivious to why she had been nominated for eviction by the housemates

I never thought I would say it but 'The Sun' are the ones to ask. The seem to know all the gossip about behind the scenes, they got the African housemate swap right, didnt they?
At first I thought it would be a celeb like Avid but really why would they evict two people last week and not bring in someone else. Its got to be a female.

Tonights task to win a "very special reward".


The remaining six housemates are to have their nerves tested with the fifth Saturday Challenge - they must draw straws.

The lucky housemates who pick the long straws live on TV at 9pm will win a "very special reward".

Those housemates who draw the short straws will be denied access to the reward room.

The housemates will be given a straw holder with six straws in it and each have one chance to draw a straw from the holder.

They will have just one minute to decide on the order in which they will draw straws and relay this information to Big Brother. Big Brother will then signal each housemate to draw their straw in turn.

The order in which the straws are drawn also dictates the order in which the winning housemates will enter the reward room. The first housemate to draw a long straw will be the first housemate to enter the reward room and so on.

Once in the reward room, housemates may not leave until instructed by Big Brother. They are also not permitted to communicate with housemates still in the house.
