Yes but he never lied or pretended otherwise, Faye was the one giving it the "oh I would always put you first above anyone" and then she goes and says that.

She has been proved to be a liar and a user tonight.

But if they don't guess the HM's in the right sequence, they lose the money. So they could be splitting £10 5 ways, if that's the only one they guess right. It's the only way to cause drama.

Affecting the TOTAL prize fund (by effectively halving it for bad guessing) would cause huge public outcry and get them slated massively by the red-tops. Messing with the divvy up is allowable but halving the prize fund a week before the end is inexcusable.
