TOWIE producers have been trying to get clearance to re-record Last Christmas by Wham! featuring George Michael.

An apt choice, if you ask me, because it should be their last Christmas on telly.

A source revealed: "TOWIE have done a deal with Universal Records to release a Christmas single. The cast are really excited."

Polydor Records, who have Take That on their books, will release the track.
