Why is it that all new Rnb songs like promiscious girl always enter at 18 then go in at number 3. That is well good song and should of gone to number 3 straight away.. That happened with Dejavu and also this week the fantastic new single from Hushboy from Basement Jaxx and Jealousy 'Lucy'. There in at number 12 etc...

It's on downloads only and then when it get's released on CD it goes in higher.

The charts are a promotional mechanism to sell albums. Half the Charts are fixed. Record companies buy their way into the charts. You can't rely on them as a totally accurate measure of popularity. It's been like that for the last 40 years btw.
