Regarding Black people and the N word. They use it with themselves as an insult and a none insult, it's pretty interchangeable it seems. Can any Black person give any decent reason why they should use the N word so casually with eachother when it caused so much pain for their ancestors? I've not heard one yet, that little question is often swiftly deflected.

It seems to me that the new generations don't really understand fully the old connotations that word must have had for people, and just think it's a bit of a joke really

Reasons why Black people use the N Word and White people shouldn't etc.


1. As stated around 8 times already in the thread, It is considered to be a way of reclaiming the word back from when it was used during slavery.


2. 99.9% of the time it is used by black people it is similar to White people going "How's it going dude" etc.

3. The same way, I don't use the word P**i or F*g yet Pakistanis and gay people would use to towards each other.

4. Now are you ready for the REAL PROPER REASON? Good



Do you not think about some of the "ghosts" of black people's ancestors? Think about how some black people would feel hearing this word come out of a white person.... It's idiotic to compare this feeling to how it would be if black people were using.


When a black person uses the word ***** towards my father, or if my boys use it towards me etc, My father would not think of that person holding a whip and barking orders towards him as he is worked like an animal, he wouldn't think of that person forcing him to go to the back of the bus, he wouldn't get images of being hung, pointed and laughed at. This is just how life is.

If you really do no understand why it is still used by black people, then you should just ask one in person, because I am outty.

It's had a lot removed from last night. We've started page 5 of this thread about 15 different times. I've had a few posts removed from last night too (some correctly, some questionably), and I think some of yours have been deleted.

the n word has been used this way since the late 70s, early 80s at least. It's nothing new

I would preferably ban the word altogether aswell but you would have some people kick up a stink,also if the majority want the word then they should be able to use it if it's a joke,although I think other racial jokes are better than that one.
