Default I am on Crutches

Just got back from casualty fractured my foot yesterday at school.Omg its painful. first time ever i have used crutches.At least i am being waited on and will get time off work.I have to see a specialist on monday. At the moment i just have a tubular stocking on. Anyone know about how long will need the crutches . I forgot to ask.???

My mum was on crutches for 3 weeks. .. they are a pain! .. especially when my dad forced her to race him. they dont half slow you down.

Hope it is feeling better. That said I would not be surprised if you come home with a pot on. They do not usually treat a fracture with just a tubi grip. It would usually be in a cast for 4 to 6 weeks followed by a little physio to get it moving properly. So depending on the type of fracture and location will depend on whether or not you are given a cast that can allow you to walk (with a lovely plastic shoe) on or if it is a non weight bearing cast.

There not that bad Scoobster I had to have them for 2 and a bit weeks when I fractured my foot while playing Footie (Yes, me playing footie )
