Christina Aguilera has told her fans to expect her new album soon, and to prepare themselves for an album with real quality.

The singer’s last album Bionic was received with mixed reviews in 2010, but the singer has insisted that she hasn’t been rushed on the new album and has aimed for quality, not quantity.

While appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, she said, "It's coming, it's coming, it's coming. I'm very, very excited.

"It's quality not quantity. I don't like to just get songs from producers. I like them to come from a personal place. It's going to be great."

She added: "I'm very excited. It's fun, exciting, introspective. It's great."

The singer went on to say that people should expect something “honest and raw” on the new album.

Does anyone even care anymore? :/ Her singles are usually good but her albums are just so boring..

I don't see why "Bionic" was so slated, I still play it now on occasion, think it's a great album.

okay, 'Fat' is a bit mean, but it is true (or was), after Bionic flopped and she gained weight and recently that 'fake tan/period' thing at the funeral, people don't take her seriously anymore..

If she wants to be as successful an artist as she was back in the early 00's, this new album will have to be 100% and more.

Why include just 'fat' and not 'divorced', 'ugly' or ' past it'? You were clearly trying to make a point and a very shallow one, especially since the other options concern her music.

I think as long as she has that incredible voice, she can put out as much crap as she likes so long as she comes out with another Hurt or another Fighter or another Beautiful every now and then.

I know I for "I love her music" but its only Bionic that I love. Not really that accurate but yeah. :3

I'll probably listen to this when it comes out. I would've gathered she continued down the electro she dabbled in with Bionic. Well, I'd like it if she did more songs like 'Bobblehead' really.
