Supposedly to trap animals according to their 'defence' ......

That old chestnut "honest Guv, you got it wrong". (though to be fair, seeing as they are American, maybe they wouldn't say 'Guv')

My arse - it's a popular hiking trail - the damage these traps could have inflicted on people -never mind animals - it's sick and barbaric.
