Big Brother 2012 producers are said to be scared about Scott Mason’s health after he was caught ‘drinking aftershave’ during a booze ban.

Last week, Big Brother blocked the housemates’ supply of alcohol as a punishment for nominations discussions.

However, according to the Daily Star, Scott became so desperate for a ‘buzz’ that he sprayed some cologne – containing ethanol, a pure form of alcohol – on his tongue.

Having spotted his actions, eagle-eyed producers promptly called him to the Diary Room to warn him of the health risks. A source told the newspaper: “They were gobsmacked by what he had done. This has never happened on the show before.”

Meanwhile, a show spokesperson added: “Scott was asked not to spray perfume into his mouth for health and safety reasons.”

Last month Scott left the house temporarily due to a bereavement.
