Channel 5 Idents
As always, Channel 5 will adapt their idents to fit in with the eye and show. Here are the idents for Bit on the Side and the main shows.

Presenting Line Up

This year, the presenting line-up features a small change. Alice Levine, Emma Willis and Brian Dowling will return. But there is a main change... Davina McCall is back as the main show presenter! The other roles for Alice, Brian and Emma will be revealed later on.

Channel 5 will roll out Presenter adverts for Davina McCall's return as well as adverts featuring Alice, Emma and Brian. As well as these, a billboard will be rolled out across the country.

Big Brother will return on Channel 5 for the 14th series, and 13th year. The Show will last 93 Days in total. The following shows will accompany the series:

MAIN HIGHLIGHTS SHOW:
TX: Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday - Channel 5
Time: 9pm Weekdays, 9:30pm Weekends
Marcus Bentley narrates the highlights from the past 24 hours inside the Big Brother House including tasks, Nominations highlights and Eviction Highlights.

BIG BROTHER: LIVE EVICTION SHOW
TX: Friday
Time: Show 1 - 8:30 - 10pm, Show 2 - 10:30pm - 11pm
Davina McCall hosts the weekly live eviction shows on Channel 5 where the highlights from Thursday in the House will be broadcast alongside the Eviction Announcement. The second show will see the evictee leave and interviewed.

BIG BROTHER: NOMINATIONS LIVE
TX: Monday
Time: 9pm - 10:30pm
Davina McCall hosts Nominations Night Live where Housemates will nominate each other Live using points. At the end of the show, the Housemates with the most Nominations points will face eviction on Friday.

BIG BROTHER'S BIT ON THE SIDE
TX: Monday-Friday - Channel 5
TX: Saturday - 5*
Time: 10:30pm Monday, 10pm Tuesday - Thursday, 11pm Saturday
Emma Willis and Alice Levine return with Spin-Off show Bit on the Side. The show gives viewers exclusive content, and interviews with Celebrities and exclusive guests.

Time: 6pm - Weekdays, 12:15pm - Weekends
Brian Dowling hosts the half hour BBLB where he is joined by special guests and gives exclusive tours and interviews.

BIG BROTHER: PSYCHOLOGY UNCOVERED
TX: Sunday - Channel 5
Time: 10pm
Emma Willis hosts a hour Psychology show where she is joined by Psychologists to analyze the Housemates behaviour and Nominations.

BIG BROTHER: DIARY ROOM UNCUT
TX: Saturday, Sunday - Channel 5
Time: 8:45pm
Diary Room Uncut returns for the new series. The Show airs for 45 minutes with exclusive and unseen Diary Room entries from all the Housemates.


Channel 5 will also air Celebrity Big Brother in the Autumn. However, the show will not return in January as Celebrity Hijack will be returning. More on that soon.

Big Brother's Bit on the Side 2013

As part of the Show Line Up, Spin-Off show and panel show, Big Brother's Bit On The Side returns. Emma Willis and Alice Levine will front the show which will air on both Channel 5 and 5*. The Show will air daily on Monday-Saturday.

Emma Willis will host the show on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with Alice hosting Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Show's set stays mainly unchanged from previous series in features. However there are some very noticeable changes. The first change being that the show will return to the George Lucas Stage where the sets for Bit on the Side/BBLB and the Eviction Shows will be.

1. The Panel
This year, there will be no panel present throughout the series of Big Brother. There will still be Celebrity Guests, but the panel has been replaced with a large circular sofa.

2. The Sweaty Box

The Sweaty Box's location has moved from the corner of the Studio to directly near the main presenting podium where Interviews are conducted. It has also had a makeover with new furniture and computers.

Live Eviction/Big Brother Psychology Uncovered Studio

Big Brother this year acquired the George Lucas Stage which enabled them to create indoor studios on a greater scale. This means that the Eviction Studio has moved back indoors. The Eviction Studio features a sofa (same as on Bit on the Side) for Family and Friends, a large audience stand and a presenting space. There is also a small corridor where the Evicted Housemate will enter the Eviction Studio:

Big Brother: Psychology Uncovered

This year, Channel 5 will introduce a new Psychology show called Big Brother: Psychology Uncovered. Emma Willis will host this show on Sunday Evenings (Replacing BOTS) and will joined by guests to study the Housemates behaviour. The Studio will be the same as the Eviction Set, but with obvious changes.

The Exterior
Big Brother decided to shake up the exterior this year, by getting rid of the large eye stage and replacing it with a classic Big Brother Exterior, however crucial features remain. The audience stands remain in tact but the lighting around them has been removed. The large screen where the door is also remains with a large pattern covering the door and screen. An extra screen has been added to the front of the House where videos will be played. The classic stairs have returned which lead to a presenting podium.

This is brilliant! I wish the exterior of the BB house was like this again. Just having cars come up to the end of the crowd so the housemate can get their (estimated) 3 minutes of fame.

The House - Entrance Stairs
The stairs of the House are the same shape and form as the Stairs from Big Brother 13. They are this time round a wooden theme with lots of LED lighting frames. The lighting can change colour E.G - Red for Eviction Nights, and lighting strips also feature at the bottom of the stairs. For the first time in a while also, the Diary Room Door doesn't feature underneath the stairs.

Really nice actually- I just hope we don't have that same wood theme throughout the whole house- that seems to be a recurring theme with you're projects- overuse of the textures but still liking the stairs- interested as to how the camoflauge theme will fit in with the house.
