The Weeknd has announced details of his debut album 'Trilogy'.

The release will feature remixed and remastered versions of the Canadian R n' B artist's three mixtapes, 'House of Balloons', 'Thursday' and 'Echoes Of Silence' as well as three new tracks. The whole package will feature 30 tracks in total and will be released on November 12.

The Weeknd has been name-checked by a raft of artists, collaborating with Drake on several tracks, including 'Take Care' from his Number One album 'Take Care', and was asked by Lady Gaga to remix 'Marry The Night'. He also created a remix of 'Shake It Out' for Florence And The Machine and also features on 2 Chainz's new album 'Based on a T.R.U. Story'.

The singer - whose realname is Abel Tesfaye – played his first UK show in June at intimate 300-capacity east London venue Wilton's Music Hall. Outside the sold-out show, tickets were being traded for £350, a full £330 over face value.

Watched by Katy Perry and Florence And The Machine's Florence Welch, the set featured 17 songs in total from the singer's various mixtapes as well as a cover of Michael Jackson's 'Dirty Diana'. He later returned to the UK to perform with Drake at July's Wireless festival.

Here's just the second video to go along with the Weeknd's trilogy of mixtapes from last year. This one's for Thursday's "Rolling Stone", and features Abel Tesfaye-- who directed the video himself-- sitting and singing straight into the camera. Chris Cunningham is listed on the production credits, and while that's a pretty common name, we're betting it's the Chris Cunningham of Aphex Twin's "Come to Daddy" notoriety. Watch it over on the Weeknd's website.

Universal Republic will release the Weeknd's three mixtapes, along with three new tracks, on November 26 as a bundle called Trilogy. The artwork, below, looks like it comes from the same shoot as the music video. It's available to pre-order now over on Tesfaye's site.
