wish they'd ended it with the season Monica and Chandler got married... wouldn't have had to have witnessed Chandler have the life drained from him, Joey's whole "oh i suddenly like rachel" fiasco and 5 years of just awful television

By far my favourite ever show.
1) chandler
2) phoebe
3) ross
4) joey
5) Monica
They did make joey really stupid by the end...he was cool for the first few seasons. Still love it now...so long after it ended. Am glad they have not milked it and made a movie...just don't think it would've worked

There were some classic parts like Rachel's pregnancy (she was fantastic that season) but the other characters got annoying and season 9/10 were appalling compared to the early ones. It was just dragged out for the predictable Ross/Rachel reunion. The finale was flawless though so I'm not complaining.

Season 8 was far more fresh than season 7. It was like a return to form, but 9 and 10 just went backwards down a hill imo. And Monica was a great character in seasons 2/3/4, but just became annoying.

Precisely.

Season 7 was horrific and relied on guest stars only. The only amazing ones were the holiday armadillo (which isn't even that good) and the wedding episode until Rachel stole their thunder at the end with her pregnancy cliffhanger.

Season 9 started good until Rachel suddenly liked Joey back, which was out of character

Can we all agree the best cliffhanger was Ross and Emily's wedding though

Tag, wtf was that about? It had its moments but overall 7 was pretty poor. The first few episodes of 8 were fantastic with the 'whos the daddy' episodes and just is general 8>7. And yes, to this day the bit when he says Rachel shocks me.

Completey agree - I watched it again on Sunday and it still manages to bring a tear to my eye....loved it

I agree they did make a couple of seasons too many but I still love every one

Did anyone watch Joey? What did you make of it?

The final scene was done so perfectly, always makes me cry

And I've never seen Joey, I didn't know it existed until recently

I remember I enjoyed One Where They're Up All Night from season 7. The whole thing with Phoebe and the smoke alarm was funny.

But you could give Lisa Kudrow a phonebook to read from and I would find her hilarious.

Beat me to it, that was one of the more enjoyable ones. A poll with all of the seasons should be included
