Ive listened to him for the past ten years..................Im genuinely saddened by this tragedy. On his last show on Saturday, he was saying how he had a big surprise for us on his next show this Friday.

God bless you, Mr Dicken.

I cannot believe its true....I mean I cannot believe its true ,there seems to be something weird about the way his death has been annouced,

How did he die?

Whens the funeral?

Is the big surprise on friday going to be that he is still on air.I have googled mr Dickin and not a word about his death.

If he is dead then I will miss him ,however it all seems a bit weird to me.

James Whale is dedicating his show tonight to Mike with friends and listeners can phone in to share their memories of him.

It seems like he had a heart attack whilst driving which caused 6 car pile up.

Yeah, it was a terrible accident, caused, seemingly by a heart attack at the wheel.

He was looking forward to spending Christmas at his French home.

He was cantankerous, but he was so endearing and only said what most of us listeners thought...........

I used to listen to "the Dickin" avidly a few years ago. It was while listening to his show that I found out about the death of of Princess Di. I was genuinely saddened to hear of his death. TalkSport will never be the same again.

Mike your health is no longer in question. RIP

Same here.

He subscribed to the theory that she was murdered by Prince Philip.

I have to agree with him.

Its ironic that he goes in the same way as Di.

I certainly don't suscribe to that conspiracy theory at all. I never always agreed with Dickin but I am an admirer of people who speak candidly and passionately about subjects whatever their views, and Mike was certainly one of those people.
