I haven't been very supportive of Andy during the competition but even I was shocked to see him leave tonight. Perhaps his fans thought he'd sail through and save themselves 25p. It topped off what was, I thought, a pretty dismal show tonight. Nobody really shone out due to the terrible theme of cliched disco tunes which I've heard a million times over. With the exception of Michelle and possibly Chris it was all, as Simon would put it, 'cabaret' - Butlins style.

I am one of Susanne's biggest admirers but tonight she did badly due to her voice being completely unsuitable to the song. I was certain she was going to be leaving as a result. And because of Andy's shock exit, this may actually have a backlash against her. I hope not of course. Susanne also needs to restrain herself more too and really sort out her nerves as it will go against her in the coming weeks.

As I have just said on another thread I have never thought much of Andy either - bland, mediocre voice, no spark - and even though he wasn't the worst performance tonight I am still glad that he went.

I started off really liking Susanne, but she hasn't performed well for the last few weeks and she is really showing how limited her style is - when she sings well she is fantastic and outshines the others by miles, when she sings badly she is dire and painful to watch. I'm hoping that she does well next week with the Beatles, I really want to start liking her again.

i have a feeling that Beatles songs will suit susannes voice perfectly xxx I'm glad Andy's gone he did nothing for me x I love Mark so much he is definatly my favourite along with sus x I hope they both are in the final - The Xmas song sounds good as well xxx
