'One Pound Fish' Man has been sent home to Pakistan after the expiration of a visa.
However, the market trader and singer is expected to return to the UK in the New Year, according to The Mirror.
The 31-year-old, real name Muhammad Shahid Nazir, reached number 29 in the Christmas charts with 'One Pound Fish'.
Nazir's agent Samir Ahmed said: "He will be returning to Pakistan on Tuesday and will be celebrating New Year with his family.
"His return to the UK is pending approval of a working visa. We fully expect him to return in the coming weeks."
Nazir was originally filmed selling fish from a stall in East London and singing to attract customers. After being viewed over 6 million times on YouTube, the ditty was released on iTunes in a bid for the Christmas number one.
