Default M25 lorries damaged at Waltham Abbey as bricks thrown...

Quote:
Four lorries were damaged after bricks were dropped from a footbridge above the M25.

The drivers of two lorries and two recovery trucks reported their vehicles damaged at 18:25 GMT on Tuesday.

The bricks were dropped from a footbridge near Lodge Lane, Waltham Abbey. Nobody was injured.

Five 13-year-old boys were arrested at Beechfield Walk in Waltham Abbey on suspicion of causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life.

Police have urged witnesses to contact them.

Reckless idiots don't care if they injure someone.

..yeah, that sort of thing really angers me..someone just driving in their vehicle, who they've never met before and know nothing about..yet they're quite prepared to end that person's life, which could easily happen...I wonder how they would feel if one of their parents or a member of their family were the ones driving and someone did that to them....

It's not their fault, what else is there for them to do. Throwing bricks from Motorway bridges onto the fast moving traffic below is the only group activity open to them. There are no youth clubs and they are too young to go to pubs and they probably have no money to go to cinema, cafes etc..

So we should not be too quick to blame these poor forgotten souls, society has not given them many options..!!!

Something similar happened to me once although not as bad. I was driving home from work and kids were throwing water bombs at cars....I laughed until I passed them and the little buggers timed it perfectly, got it in through my open window and hit me square in the face. I stopped my car(which was left hand drive and so they got me right in the face at full force and it actually hurt). I started to run after them but was 8 months pregnant at the time and sopping wet....anyway the fact was it could have caused an accident but to hear them laugh as they ran off you would have thought it was the funniest ring ever....(although I'm sure I looked ridiculous)

Idiots, mustn't own a car themselves otherwise they'd know how much it'll affect the drivers

I struggle sometimes to tell whether the stuff you write is what you really mean, or whether you're being sarcastic.

What a mindless thing to do...
I just can't comprehend what would make someone do that, what did they think would happen?

...so that's the answer to their boredom then...try to kill someone for entertainment..?..seems a bit extreme..I'm sure some more thought has to go into that...

I was not being serious ... Even my liberal views don't stretch to allowing bored youngsters the option to maim and kill innocent motorists...!!!
