Jen and Tilly's storyline is so boring. Tilly is not the friend Esther thinks/thought she was too.

Disappointed with Tom, Jack and Diane in tonights episode. HO are doing a good job to show Esther as someone who feels totally alone and feels trying to kill herself is the best option because of the bullying, but it is not.

This storyline is so sad. I hope that bullying victims IRL seek help!

It was and HO is the best soap at delivering sensitive and hard hitting storylines like this for a young audience. When the show is on top form it is great!

Hannah's anorexia storyline was really emotionally gripping too. Bryan Kirkwood totally gets Hollyoaks, it is a shame it did not totally work out for him at EastEnders but I am glad he is back and all the focus is not on the teens now.

Emmett Scanlan: "I'll still have Hollyoaks on my Sky Plus"

Emmett Scanlan has claimed that he will still tune into Hollyoaks after his departure.

Scanlan confirmed that he would be leaving the soap earlier this month, after two and a half years playing Brendan Brady. He will film his final scenes this month.



According to PA, Scanlan said that he will "miss" Brendan, commenting: "Two and a half years I've spent immersed in Brendan Brady. I spend more time with Brendan Brady than I do with Emmett - it's six days a week, 14 hours a day so when I get home to be Emmett I'm usually slapping on a box set and falling asleep.

"But of course I'm going to miss him - he's a touchy, unpredictable fruitcake. It's hard to let go of characters you've invested in so much."

He also revealed that while it is the "right time" to leve the soap, he will remain a fan. "I'll have [Hollyoaks] on Sky Plus because I've got a lot of friends that are about to hit some storylines that are dark, properly dark. The show no doubt is going to keep getting stronger and stronger," he said.

Scanlan promised that fans will not be disappointed with Brendan's final storyline, which he described as "epic".

Over on Hollyoaks, Ste Hay and Brendan Brady are in for a surprise when Doug Carter arrives back in the village.

Doug (PJ Brennan) jetted off home to America late last year after realising that he had to let go of his relationship with Ste, but surprisingly, he seems happier than ever upon his return. Is Doug over Ste?

Doug's return isn't the only thing that Brendan (Emmett Scanlan) has to deal with, as he is still struggling to cope with his abusive father Seamus's presence in the village.

Unable to control his anger, Brendan loses his temper when Liam accidentally smashes Leah's school project. He also finds himself in an argument with Mitzeee at Chez Chez, which leads to a shock confession from Brendan about his childhood abuse.

Later, when Mitzeee is interviewing for new barmen at the club, a ruthless Brendan gets rid of every candidate apart from newcomer Kevin (Elliot Balchin).

It looks like Kevin has landed himself the job - but as he later spies on Brendan and Ste from afar and reports back to someone, it seems that he may have an ulterior motive for being in the village.

Things are looking up for Brendan when he makes the big decision to live with Ste, but does Kevin's arrival mean that more trouble is brewing for the Irishman?

He is spying for the returning Walker, who is involved in Brendan's exit storyline. It times with Carl coming back joining forces with Mitzeee too seeking justice for Riley's death.

As we know Mitzeee and Brendan are both leaving. Mitzeee in February and Brendan at the end of March!
