They make me laugh mostly, but some are just SO pointless and annoying...

Why do people complain about this? Every time I see some zany comedian use it as the base for a joke it makes me cringe.

It's Facebook. Not some serious political arena to discuss only the most pressing issues in. It's just fun. I've often put up a whole load of hot garbage on it about what I'm eating.

It is weird though, that I try and apply some kind of different rule to Facebook than I do to Twitter... like I'll use Twitter for reject-facebook-statuses, if you will.

Some people really do post boring/pointless rubbish on there.

I use twitter for conversation and finding stuff out, I don't really see the need to change my Facebook status.
