Default Eastenders Last night - Littles Mo\'s Verdict

Did anyone watch Eastenders last night?

I couldnt believe it - I felt so sorry for Mo but I actually thought it was a pretty bad episode because the jury couldnt really act that well and the only part they showed with Mo was at the end.

Did anyone else watch it?

Chad, I'm not sure if you mean please you want to know the verdict, or because you haven't see it yet, you do't want to know! So I will be deliberately vague just in case....

I heard that they actually shot 4 different endings - Mo guilty, Mo not guilty, a hung jury, and the case being overturned and Trevor being tried for perjury (I think!)

I thought they could pretty much get away with any ending except the one they went with! I was shocked when they announced it, even though the "woodentops" jury had been leading up to it.

What a let down after 3 good shows during the week. What a bad end. Surly the BEEB could have found 12 better actors to be the Jury...but then , I heard a comment on the radio last week thatone cannot have much faith in British justice as it relies on 12 people who were not bright enough to 'get out ' of Jury service. Maybe this was inteded to support the theory ?? Any comment.

I prefer the jury system to the alternatives! But if they sent Mo down its a serious blow to women who might think twice about speaking out. No joke. I just hope the producers get what they deserve - THE SACK!

A colleague of mine was sent for jury service at Guildford in what must have ben a fairly big case as he was out for about 4 weeks.

Loads of people - him included - tried to get out of this as 4 weeks is a big commitment for most people. The only people who the judge would let go were someone who had a holiday booked and someone who couldn't get childcare. Everyone else had to stay.

By the way, my guess is that the little mo storyline isn't done yet. I'm sure the tabloids will run some sort of "FREE MO" campaign and I bet there will be an appeal with new evidence - possibly Kat testifying about her part in cleaning all the blood up?

The BBC won't be able to let it lie there, because as you say Chad, they need to be responsible and not discourage others in the same situation as Little Mo from speaking out.

I don't actually watch soaps so I haven't got a clue what you're all talking about!

Who is Little Mo and what did she do?

I'll fill u in janette!!...

Little Mo is a vulnerable character in Eastenders shes about 30, part of quite a loud and messed up family (fair 2 say?)
She is quite weak and wants to feel loved so when this guy Trevor fell for her, she was so happy cause she had been noticed.
However, he was HORRIBLE and IS horible. He beat her up, threatened her, threw her dinner across the room and basically made her life misery.
What he also did was rape her but she still kept going back to him cause she was scared. Her family knew all of this but never could do anything about it cause she was so persistent to stay with him cause strangley enough, 'she loved him'
However, when he raped her, she left him and one night when she was baby sitting he came round to her house and her thinking he was gonna rape her again, she got her iron and slammed him across the head with it (either intentionally trying to kill him and get him out of her life or acting in self defence)
Anyway, he managed to stay alive and the police were rang and it has now come to this trial.
MO has been sent down for attempted murder for 8 years and England is going crazy cause we have seen how she was treated by him
SO, now the only option left is for Trevors ex wife to come forward (after Mo appealed) and share withe the court what he used to do to her (same things as he did for Mo) She is the only person who knows but didnt want to come forward before, shes gonna have to now though cause he conscience will lay on her.

Has that explained it?
You probably dont care but Im in an Eastenders mood and got a bit carried away!!
