With Ken gone for at least the majority of a year, and at most forever.

That leaves Steve McD as the longest running current male character in Corrie



Emily will now be the longest serving character, first appearing in Ep.15

Love Steve,he is so funny and makes Corrie imo,he and Lloyd bounce off each other really well,I wont miss Ken Barlow he was so overrated anyway.

I like Steve and Emily. Two great characters. I hope they stay on the show for a long time.

Steve was a hottie when he was younger, used to have a crush on him!

I have no doubt that Ken will be back though, I don't see how something alleged to have happened nearly 50 years ago could be proven...
