Default Last Series of Sex and the City/Friends

Anyone else a fan of Satc? As is usual with me I had to read what happens in the last episode (cant wait for anything me) This has been a must watch programme for me and I shall really miss it when it finishes.

Also great fan of Friends - cant wait to hear how that ends too - I do hope Rachel and Ross get back together.

I know I'm in a minority but American humour does nothing for me at all. Friends is probably the best of a bad lot but I have never been a fan. I watched a bit of Will and Grace once and thought it was complete trash. (sorry Amy )

Sorry BusyBee but I don't rate Sex in the City either. About the only American show of this ilk that I have ever liked is Ally McBeal which I think is brilliant.

I love friends I'm keeping everything crossed for a happy ending
I think Rachel should be with Ross and Monica and Chandler should have a babythen I'll be happy.
I hope they don't decide to make the ending sad like they did with Dawson's Creek
oh dear I think I seriously watch too much tv

I know how Friends ends. I couldn't resist and looked at the spoilers. lol

I don't watch Sex and the City, or Frasier which is also ending apparently.

There are 12 episodes left to show of Friends on Channel 4.

In America there's 4 left but they are showing a month of repeats just now.

All tragedies are finish'd by a death,
All comedies are ended by a marriage;
The future states of both are left to faith

So, i thought to myself i'll watch SATC last night as it's the last ever one!! I got into bed to make myself comfortable and started to watch the show that was on before the final episode .................................................. .......................................... the next thing I know it's 1 am and I'd missed the show

So what happened? And what is Mr Big's real name??? I don't know why I'm asking as I have no idea who he is as I've never watch SATC before

Well Amy his real name was John
but don't worry you didn't miss very much.
I didn't think it was very good for the last episode there were lots of silent moments with nothing happening
I was expecting it to be really good with it being the last one
I haven't seen a lot of the episodes but watched it quite a bit when it used to be on before BB.
I hope friends is better

I thought it was really good, except the really, REALLY cheesy bit wen Big passed Carrie in the taxi and neither of them noticed! We've blocked that bit out coz it was so silly!

The ending was good, especially Samantha sher was as we will always remember her! lol

Dont no wot Im gonna do if Ross & Rachel dont get back 2getha in friends!

I don't know if it would believable if they did get Ross and Rachel back together again. They've been split up for a long time and it might seem too much like an artificial happy ending.

Not saying that it happens, of course.

Just speaking hypothetically.

Well they've got rid of Charlie so Ross is available again as is Rachel.

I think the final Friends is going to be 'a happy every after' show Joey going off to wherever, Chandler and Monica getting their baby, Phoebe and Mike happily married so (to my romantic nature) Ross and Rachel HAVE to get together.

I must say I thought the SITC last episode was a bit of a let down. My favourite character has always been Miranda.

Personally, Sex and the City was one thing I didn't agree with Helen on. She loved it, I was mildly amused by it for the first series.

I don't agree at all that it pushed back the boundaries for women.

I think it made them look vacuous, greedy and sadly reliant on disastrous physical relationships.

Well.........I suppose that DOES bring them a little closer to equality with the average bloke!
