Default Week 8

Hi everyone!

I've been watching (and recording) every single episode of BB3. I still like it a lot. Last night I heard that BB4 will be shown here next summer, GREAT! (Too bad that I already know who wins. At least I don't know the eviction order of the others, so there's still a bit of excitement left.)

What makes me a bit sad is the opinion of most people on BB3. Most people on this forum say that BB3 is bad. Why did you watch it then? I've just been going through the messages sent between 16th and 19th July. They're almost all about Tim and Alex: how boring and whingy they are. I think those messages are boring and whingy.

I think all the housemates have contributed to BB3. If one was missing, it wouldn't be the same. I like Tim because he is not the same as Jonny, for instance. I don't think there's anything wrong with him not enjoying childish games. Jonny is funny in his own way.

BB3 has been really interesting because of the bars, for instance. The Saturday night tasks (or rather the outcomes of the tasks) have been psychologically intriguing. I have to criticise the "reward tasks", though. For instance, the roller skate disco was pathetic. I would have preferred something more intellectual.

I haven't seen any comments on the 70s theme party yet. I thought it was the funniest thing! The guys' outfits and wigs were hilarious!!

Next summer I'll get live streaming on BB5! How much does it cost? I'll also find out if it's possible to watch C4 here via a satellite or something. I guess I won't have time for anything else then, with two BB's to follow at the same time. Luckily I'll have a summer holiday of ten weeks.

I watched the BB3 DVD recently and I probably like it better than at the time. The HMs still came across as quite immature though compared to previous ones I thought.

Have they never shown Big Brother 1 in Finland, that was a really good series.

I don't understand how someone could like Tim. He is ignorant, rude, shallow, mean and pathetic person.

I didnt like Tim either, but he had a really bad time when he left the house and eventually moved to work and live in South Africa to get away from the unwanted attention.

Unfortunately not yet, I really hope they show it here someday!

Is the BB3 dvd good? Is there a lot of "new" material? Is there one for BB2? I must find them for myself!

Do you have access to e-bay (the auction site). If so they have BB DVDs for sale on there.

I must admit the BB2 one is one of my treasured possessions. I 'loaned' my original one to ROB who decided to keep it and arranged for me to have a new one. LOL.

There are ways to watch the daily episodes on the net...

BB3 had some moments which were funny. However, I just didn't LIKE the characters in there.

They were, unlike BB1 and BB2 contestants, VERY aware of the cameras and the likely outcome of their activities after the show.

I didn't lose a minutes sleep over any of them when it ended at all. I did miss the BB1 housemates when it ended, but got over it pretty quickly.

I still miss two of the BB2 housemates a lot, and think of at least another 2 or 3 of them almost as friends.

BB4 - I'll leave you to make your own mind up about that.

The whole point and concept of Big Brother is be VERY aware of the cameras. You SHOULD play games, you SHOULD try to survive cuz everyone is there because of the money. Do you seriously think anyone enjoyed a moment of their time with Alex or Tim unless the money. NO.

Sorry dont agree that everyone goes into the house for the money - maybe to get a new career, but not necessarily the money. After all the money that is involved in the British version is not that great - many other reality shows offer much more but people still want to be on Big Brother.

There is also 'being aware of the cameras' and 'being aware of the cameras so that you play up to them'.

And I DONT want our BBs to turn into something like the American version where they spend the whole time making allegiances and 'playing the game' to the full.

The point is to "play the game".
