Question 6th June launch date? - News story

Big Brother 2013 to start on Thursday 6th June?

Preliminary schedules for Channel 5 suggest that the Big Brother 2013 launch show could take place on Thursday 6th June.

According to information issued by the broadcaster today, the 6th is currently clear between 7.00pm and 00.10am – providing ample time for the live launch show and the first edition of spin-off Bit On The Side.

C5′s listings are also marked as ‘TBA’ between 9.00pm and 00.15am on Friday 7th – which would allow for the first highlights show, or possibly another live show.

Elsewhere, 5* is also open between 8pm and midnight on the 7th, with repeats pencilled in between 7pm and 8pm – which could easily be replaced by the first instalment of live feed.

However, these listings are currently subject to change. Final schedules for the 1st-7th June are expected to be issued next Wednesday.

If Big Brother does begin on June 6th, it is likely that it will overlap with Britain’s Got Talent for the first time since 2007, with the ITV variety show expected to conclude on June 8th.

BB just posted on FB about the eye on tv yesterday & people are speculating when ithe launch date will be & I said I think it will be after 8th because of BGT final, BB wrote its not official but the likely date will be the 6th(or words to that effect)

Can't wait

It can't be the official page because a channel would NEVER speculate a date unless it was 100% confirmed
