Default Street protest in India over Big Brother

Quote:
Reports have indicated that a street protest has taken place in India over the ongoing Celebrity Big Brother controversy.

ITV News has reported that a group of protesters in the city of Patna burned an effigy in the street after the news of alleged racism and bullying directed at Shilpa made the front pages of newspapers in India.
Sorry if already been posted - This is pathetic.

yep its been posted.
I heard they had to tape 2 effigies together to even get the right size for jade.

anywhoo, burning an effige is normal in protests there,it may seem violent to us,but its pretty regular

Personally I don't care. Those protestors have probably never even seen the frickin' show so they're obviously morons that believe anything the papers/news says. Also, there has been bullying and ignorance, not racism.

Why are the government getting involved as well? It's a TV SHOW.
