I'm not sure about an exclusive release window but I'm guessing that FF and KH will get some sort of exclusive DLC or perhaps a free port of an older game in the series.

The Wii U is quite cheap, I wouldnt say its worth getting just yet though, they need to put more games on the console first. I've got one and its really fun, but there isn't much to play.

Mario Kart 8 looks stunning, both in graphical style and quality. There's a gameplay video on youtube, go check it out (can't link right now).

Immensely disappointed with 3D World though, and we need Smash Bros out ASAP.

So Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV are multiplatform, was liking the idea of it being exclusive, but I guess more people will get to play now, and I understand why SE is making it multiplatform too with their recent cash flow problems.

I didn't realise Sony are gonna start charging for PSN. That's a bit pissy but I'll take that over the Xbox One any day...

For me its a non issue, this generation will see the introduction of console MMORPGs on a large scale, having the PS Subscription there means that they will likely all be F2P.

Yeah I'm not majorly fussed either. As long as there's no ridiculous DRM or conditions a la the One, then it's fine by me. Especially with MMORGs falling under that subscription like you mentioned.

It's a shame though. I'm so used to getting it for free. Ah well I guess this will all go into making the service better in the long run.

PS Plus is generally worth getting anyway, free games! I'm glad that every other service will still be free.

Paying for it hopefully means we will finally start getting Updates which actually mean something. Something Microsoft done well in fairness.

I only ever had it once in that compensation offer after PSN died for ages. I mean it was nice, but it didn't really offer enough for me to want to keep it on really. Free games were pretty cool but that was all it seemed to offer rofl.

It has automatic updates, which lowers the amount of updates that your console has to do

That was back before they cranked it up and started putting the triple A titles up for free. Let's put it like this, you're paying £40 a year and in return you're getting hundreds of pounds worth of content for free.

When you put it like that, it makes a lot mores sense to pay for it. I mean after I had it for that brief period I was just put off because the games up for grabs weren't.. amazing. So I just made the assumption that it was always gonna be like that. I guess that was pretty dumb in hindsight.

Either way. Paying for it still makes the PS4 around £40 cheaper than xBox, and that is before you pay for Live
