The only thing I will say is... I hope its worth it. Alas we don't know what they're going to be doing, but I'm optimistic that they're not just going to use the two live shows just to shove two different groups in the house.

There must be something big to warrant it, right?

I hope there is a point to it. I think it'll create two instant groups but hope it does more. Also, one launch night would've been cheaper so I hope its worth the money.

Does anyone know where the idea came from? ie has any BB in another country done a split launch and how did it go?

The first celeb series had a pointless 2nd live show when Kerry's secret mission was revealed but then it wasn't billed as launch night part 2 then...

I think it could be great depending how they do it. Personally i would love it if on the first night 8 people with secrets entered and revealed what they are to each other, and the next night, 8 without any enter the house and have to match the secrets to the HM's that entered on day 1.
